Pondering election coverage online
There are so many possibilities for what we could be doing online, but limited time and resources. A colleague of mine suggested we start by making clear goals to guide what we do. Here’s my first crack at it.
Question: What are our goals?
- Be the bridge for our local readers who are not-so-tuned in to new media.
- Let readers go “in depth” in the local areas that matter.
- Let our local readers help shape the news.
- Let our local readers express themselves.
- Be an easy resource for ongoing FAQ’s
